Ranked against the son of a VP

I’m in drilling and a well known VP has a son in my group. What do you think the chances are he isn’t flagged a high potential and pushing out the rest of us for a top spot in the ranking. Helps to have a famous last name.

5 years ago I was ranked in Drilling against the son of a now Company President. He is a truly admirable young man and his father is a cool guy. Because if their demeanor and the way they carried themselves I didn't have a problem with it.
