There are so many former leaders/SVPs … where are they? We need them. Help all of us you used to lead and believed in the magic of our wonderful mother mining. Your voices are more powerful than you know. Don’t stand down. Stand up. stand up for what’s right.

mean those 'parasites'?
Leaving a company for greener pastures anybody can do. We don’t need a leader doing it…. Going to KC. What happens when KC flops? Yeah right, there is always another company to go to. There is a proverb- rolling stone gathers no moss.
They can't 'deliver' if they are not allowed to. Driving her away from 3M was a strategic mistake by Roman, one of a great many.
The VP+ leaders left in this company almost all fall into one of 3 groups:
- Yes-men and Yes-women (lots of them)
- Short-term 3Mers playing along for a few years, then off to their next company with 3M Executive on their resume.
- Keeping their head low, waiting for retirement (see at least 30% of them)
Genuine leaders in positions of influence have all been driven away.
Running away from problem, is it what a leader supposed to do? If truly a leader, she should not have jumped ship to KC but stayed and delivered.
The ones left are afraid to speak up to tireman from what I’ve seen. They all nod in agreement and are “yes” men and women .
Most of the best that are more than a few years from retirement have already left. Including several that would have been much better candidates for CEO than Mikey boy.
Anyone with the skills to properly lead 3M and challenge Mike and the board have all left, either voluntarily or not.
Half of mikey COC team have resigned, and became successful executives for other companies. You can easily Google for them.
The smart leaders have already left. One of the good leaders left for Kimberly Clark. Probably gave up some money in stock awards but she saw the mess this place was in. Others like her have left too.
