I am hesitant to listen to rumors, but now that the Return to Office rumors are true I am wondering if Workforce Reductions are next.

Most people I know are no going to go back in. Their manager can try push them to but most managers don't want to return to the office either. The numbers of people seemingly ready to hand back their badge just because they have been asked to return to the office are badly miscalculated if this is the strategy to manage people out.
Wont be a WFR.
This was put in place to manage people out.
No incentive for people with tenure to voluntarily leave and miss out on severance package. Management is all clown pants—with expensive salaries and cars. 🤦🏻♀️
I cannot wait for WFR. I stopped working around 6 months ago. I could not care less about this company if I tried. Me next please Jeff.
"i think part of this return to the office is to rattle a few people into leaving"
no. it's just monkey see monkey do. JC has no leadership skills so just following the current trends. This will fizzle out
i think part of this return to the office is to rattle a few people into leaving that where on the fence so to speak. Once this plays out for a few weeks/ months they will look at the numbers and do a workforce reduction on whos left as needed it wont look so bad because some people already left and made the needed number smaller.
We’ve never stopped WFRing for months. I personally know of people let go in Dec, Jan, Feb, and Apr. more are coming.
In last ISG all hands, they said more hard decisions will have to be made, this means layoffs
This will be a way to reduce the workforce.
