What about fully remote people who don’t live even remotely near an office? Can they continue working from home as-is?

“But from my experience, if you are counting on forced hours spent in a traditional office to create collaboration and provide a feeling of belonging within your organization, you’re doing it wrong.

Technology’s ability to create a do-anything-from-anywhere world, where work is an outcome rather than a place or time, also enables you to create a strong corporate culture anywhere, all the time.”

Not mandatory. More suggestive. Not enforced.

Full of bold face lies to.

No one is asking for this. It's going to fizzle out.

Emails are being rolled out. The timing says as soon as possible, 3 days a week for employees that are within "about an hour drive" from the office.

It also said employees have asked for this through Tell Dell. I would like to know who asked for this because not a single person I know has asked to return to office.

Also, if there are people that want to go to the office, they always could. No one ever dictated they couldn't. Total load of BS.

They are just trying to make people quit.

No email here. If true.
So only affecting certain groups and positions looks like.

Jeff Clark is the driving force behind this, and is mandating 3 days a week, if you are with in 1 hour of a site. He has no real roll out plan but expects this to happen ASAP. He said this is what we have been asking for, which is a bold face lie!

There was a micro movement by rogue directors and managers to try to have this gain steam. It was never a company wide effort. Not sanctioned in any manner.

Hopefully those rogue actors will be corrected due to it being a completely anti-dell philosophy.
