Right now, fabs are so underloaded and inventories are so high that Intel could shutdown every single fab during summer and turn them back up in September without any real impact to supply chains or sales.

Fabs aren't running anywhere near capacity or else you wouldn't have all the underload charges the CEO and CFO had to defend in the last earnings call.

So yeah, I would imagine cutting back the hours to reduce all the losses the company is having might be a good idea.

We're already at a minimum, and with summer coming, vacations and sabbaticals they will get their less techs. Speaking on RA only, not sure how VF staffing is.
