Learn to say no

The company will push you until you break. The company wants to get as much out of you as possible.
You need to push back. This can be done directly by just telling your manager or whomever is asking for the work “no”.

It took me a while to learn this, but I've been much happier since I started saying no to unreasonable demands. And guess what, the world didn't end and I wasn't fired. Even if it puts me closer to being laid off, I'm okay with it. Try it, you might be surprised how well it works out.

It’s critically important. Saying no is a form of boundary setting. It’s actualizing work/life balance.

Once I got over the fear/guilt of saying no, I was a better mentally and was able to focus on producing a better work product (no rushing).
