Will employees who don't RTO be fired or laid off?

What policy was updated? I’ve been looking for something, anything in writing regarding consequences of non adherence and I’m getting a lot of blabbering but still nothing in writing.
They updated the policy, so not coming back is now considered insubordination, which is a fireable offense. Also, if you get fired, you can’t collect unemployment.
At this point, everyone who stays just needs to do the bare minimum to collect your paycheck. Punch the clock and hope you find something better before your number comes up in the next round of cuts.
Good luck in this job market!🤣
Wayne is not back tracking on RTO, so if you want to stay employed with USAA, you’ll comply. I’m waiting until November, then will begin applying elsewhere and hoping to start new in January. Might as well stick around for the holiday bonus.
RTO is a condition of employment and you’re an employee at will. Don’t want to comply? No problem. Just start looking for a job now because you will be terminated. Period.
Wayne knows the job market and inflation are bad, so he has 95% of employees by the b@lls, so you either comply with RTO or take your chances looking for a job in this market.
You can be fired for not meeting the directive regarding job requirements.
Heads-up- Unfortunately, it can hurt you if you file for unemployment. The company can challenge the filing.
You cannot get laid off for disobedience lol. You need to google what a lay off is apparently. You’ll never ge the masses to just “not” either. Most people need their jobs and will do things the smart way.
And what happens if too many decide not to RTO?
