It's the typically management's answer to every problem. Go to the engine room find the smallest cog in the machine and beat it with a hammer. Issue fixed with a promotion and bonus for the one holding the hammer.

Doing the most work? likely so, and as it should be. Most knowledgeable? uhh, no. But you just keep thinking that if it keeps you going.

in any setting at chevron, it's always the lowest PSG person in the room who's doing most of the work, or most knowledgeable. the experienced high PSG person simply enables them. and that's life. it's true at many companies.

BB is very strong technically/operationally……but lacks the ability to inspire those around him. He is just peddling softly until he retires early next year. Who goes behind him??

didn't know all of the panelists. seems like some new leaders in the fold. but given that they're newer leaders, it still seemed pretty white though.
