Midwest/District 4 Centers Closing

Multiple centers in the Midwest closing. Not too many people left. Anybody that doesn't want to follow the work will receive about $100k in severance. Company is broke as a joke.

severance for most bargained for people is contractual. In the Midwest, the figure cited is pretty accurate for bargained for folks facing a center closure.

I've also heard rumors relating to this center, and a few sales call centers. My concern with Peoria billing is that it cares for the Federal Government sector, among other things, and there are legal requirements in that space that work must be performed domestically.

I got word from a friend they’re shutting down the Peoria (IL) Collections Center. All the work is being sent to Slovakia, Mexico City, and Alabama.

Company severance is based on how long you worked and salary, not a set amount.

It's 100% true. Announcements coming today. When they call everyone to the townhall in the building just grab your ankles and brace yourself.

This is interesting info! I'm in district 4 and we have a membership meeting soon. I wonder if this is the reason for the meeting!
