Does anyone know if Verizon discloses to another potential employer the reason for the termination? That is, if you were fired? If anyone knows this and whatever other information they do verify, please share. Thanks in advance.

@1lry+1nC5Uk8p has the correct answer. Employment verification is provided through a 3rd part called The Work Number. They confirm employment and dates and that's it.
The straight answer is no. They verify your employment dates and that is it.
They only can say you were fired, and if you are re-hire-able. Can’t say why you left. They also only verify your employment.
