To be fair, most of what is told on here has come to fruition particularly this year so I will be disappointed if the OP has made it up. I will give them a chance and see if anything comes up this week.

Once again, the rumor mongers are proven to have diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain. No big announcements and nothing to see here.

Here’s your big announcement. Honeywell has decided not to sell you.

We did take this matter lightly. We still haven’t run your business into the ground. We haven’t given out enough RIF, furloughs, layoffs, wage freezes, and if you can make money. Sell your soul to Satan. Great way to earn stock dividends.

We are implementing new policy. We can increase our stock by paying our suppliers yearly. Instead of 180 days, we are even thinking about changing federal laws. In order to pay our employees yearly.

Please work 365 days a year.and leap year’s coming next year. So you will be able to work one extra day, which should increase our stock to $360. Thanks for the big bonus, and $100 bottle of champagne.

You make our future brighter. You matter.

Aerospace doesn't have any furlough in the continental United States. However, been hearing if you're offshore you could get one.

Yeah, if it was just furloughs that isn't exactly "engines big news".

Well, kinda expected a nothing burger but we still have 2 days!

The other upside is we all get Hawaiian Snow Cones at engines on the 26th. Isn't that a fair trade for a week of pay?????

Dissapointing, after seeing a few unusual people walking around recently we thought it would be GE related too.

Can't be furloughs. AERO is not doing furloughs. This quarter.....

I'm kinda waiting to see if this was a true comment or someone posting on a Sunday night to get reactions going.

For the record I'd be impacted and I hope it is true.

You're big announcement better not be furloughs. Hoping they were selling it off to GE.

What day are they making this big announcement.

You won't be giving any information away if you tell the date that they're going to make the announcement.

So aerospace is loosing it shine ( meaning loosing margins). The company leadership has made it clear that they want to go toward software, and thus moved a lot of their jobs to India, and now even have Indian CEO.
The Indian CEO is going to follow his cultural values/principals to get rich fast, after all he is not patriotic to America.

So Dumping low margin ITAR restricted units, will make the company more software, and they can move more jobs to india.

Sell Aerospace, take profit to invest back in, move jobs to India, reduce cost.
Guess what stock goes, and CEO become rich.

This cookie cutter M&A and spin off strategy. It floats the stock in five year!

At this point, does anyone here want to fly in an airplane known to contain H*well parts?

I wonder if any other divisions are going to be involved. They're starting to sell the aerospace in pieces.

Definitely getting my resume going.

GE merger again? I think that news has been going around since the late-90s when there was some action close to us being labeled GE employees but that came and gone without so much of seeing the logo in our sights.
With the stocks hovering at the same price for so long, there is sure some activities in probably licensing or spinning off some products

Since the GE spinoff moves and focus on GE Aerospace their stock has been climbing fast and Honeywell Aerospace has been a part of that conversation for some time now so very highly likely a puchase or merger of business units.

Organisational changes which is the normal routine of things whenever there is a change of guards. Am and will not be surprised going by the years spent in Honeywell

Whatever it is you know the workers in developed countries will get the short end of the stick, no matter what the paid investment touts are spouting.
