Since this is a layoff board, anyone know of potential layoffs this week? And I don’t mean, yes they happen every week but more about which groups?

Generally they are not every week, they are synced with the payroll cycle. They have it timed so the 60-day notification is 60 days before the close of a payroll period.
As another poster said, generally the way the calendar lines up that means on the Tuesday following a pay day, but in specific the timing is all about that 60-day WARN period. So you are notified such that your 60th day is a Friday that closes a payroll period.
Note that payroll periods end on the Friday before the Friday you get paid for that period. That is visible on each paycheck.
Layoffs have been happening on Tuesdays following pay day.
I heard additional tech layoffs will happen on July 25th but I have no additional details other than lists have already been provided to managers and HR.
