I've got so many followup questions about the layoff, but don't want to post or comment. I am afraid someone would identify me.

There is plenty of room for asking a question without identifying yourself, even if you are the only one in your group holding a certain position. Just don't post data about your location/group when asking a question and you are good. That ensures enough vagueness for you to stay anonymous, as there are likely hundreds of other people throughout Schwab performing the same role as you.
There are tens of thousands of employees, there is literally no way for them find you and even then no way to prove anything.
I have been posting for years, both here and on Reddit, trying to antagonize the people on the executive council who read this and literally nothing has ever happened.
I have put plenty of info out there for someone to identify me if they really wanted.
The people running the company can’t even do that without fu----g up, there is no way they are smart enough to be identifying anyone here
At this point I'll give you my employee ID if it will get me on the list for severance.
The only extent to identity is the pseudonym you use. You can certainly use a moniker, but unlike other such anonymous boards on the internet there is no code attached to it, so it's a waste of time to do unless you feel like you want some troll to use your name. Just mention what someone stated and then ask a follow up question. If they have come here once, they will likely come here again.

Just ask publicly in a professional polite tone, likely many have your same question.
It's us vs them at this point and we all need to arm ourselves with as much information as possible during this chaos. Right now the information asymmetry has given the EC too much power over us.
