What's involved with a visit to Bentonville for milestone associates? How much lead time do clubs have regarding informing an associate? Are there any other options like PTO, or cash payment in lieu of the trip? My club GM left me a voice mail on my day off to call him. He gave no details other than about milestone associate and he had to respond that day. I think the GM sandbaged me on this one.

It s true, once you reach the quarter of your 35 years with the company . They will fly you and another of your choice to Bentonville Arkansas. For two nights in a hotel . Eat free , visit museums, visit both Sam’s and Walmart home offices etc. Entertainment. So when your anniversary comes within the quarter this happens . Also every 5 years after that if you’re still with the company you can continue to do it again (35,40,45,50,55 etc) years . It’s exactly what it’s called a Milestone and everyone that achieves it deserves it ! Good luck and enjoy .
