Vault tellers are dinosaurs. Basically just a teller who counts cash and nothing more. They have been eliminating them but not fast enough, mostly when they retire.

I don’t think there is a vault teller position to layoff

I hope this means we are letting go of our Assistant Branch Managers! Mine and alot of colleagues in other offices noticed they don't want to help on the line and definitely not help clients in the lobby. A useless unneeded position. I thought they would have gotten rid of these Assistant Branch Managers before they let go of the mortgage officers since the mortgage officers actually serve a purpose. It's harsh but it's the honest truth.

One is a regular teller and one is a teller for the vault.
