Every time that Hock's team gets an approval, you can be sure that they had to make some concessions with the regulator. Also, those same items assure that Broadcom will be looking for more post-acquisition synergies (cost cutting) to pay for those unwanted concessions.

@uau+1nGVH10F Broadcom closed their last two deals on the same day as obtaining clearance to close. No reason to suspect this will be different.

FTC hasn't brought a case or even rattled their saber, they won't bring a case. After the MS/Activision debacle there aren't sound anti-trust grounds to bring one. Ms Khan is fighting for her political survival at this point.

No the CMA final decision is still due 12th Sept. Depending on FCA things could move very quickly after that though.

Will this quicken up timeline? They mentioned at all hands UK would be circa Sept. Are the US likely to approve Aug and hammer to fall Sept?
