That man has absolutely no respect for people in general. If he hates you, he’ll bad-mouth you to people you directly work with just so that your life at work is he-l on earth, but confront him and he turns into a coward. And making decisions…? Good luck with that. He can’t make a solid decision. He changes his mind five or more times in a week. The one good thing he’s good at is giving you whiplash. How do these petty, arrogant people get promoted?. Want THAT for a CEO? Avoid him like the plague.

What other career path is there for JG? Well, how about mouth runner? Wait just a sec, he already is on that career path. Never mind.

@zyuc: That is almost 50 million and counting. At that compensation level who cares if folks think you are an a$$hole!

If you have a chance encounter with JG in a desolated area of the office and he points to the floor and asks if that’s your quarter or Dollar bill on the floor, beware….. DO NOT PICK IT UP. This guy has a sick sense of humor only he laughs at.

All I can say is that JG pushed some folks to retirement who were the primary drivers for where the Permian is today. All were well under 50, energetic, knowledgeable and with proven results. This was all part of JG's pretense that he needed to to fix a culture problem that was a legacy of the previous VP. His focus on soft initiatives and downgrading predecesors accomplishments was just a distraction for his obvious lack of ability to deliver a plan. Sell the team

Hopefully no where. What a light weight whose only attribute is that he was born with a silver spoon. A totally insincere, self focussed political animal who clearly does not care about the business or Chevron. More interested in soft trickery and optics than anything meaningful. Has no respect for underlings, peers or most people above him. Avoid at all costs or we are doomed

Op, do not worry about high level executives, they already make so much money regardless, if they are in here for the CEO job and they do not get it, they will easily leave and get another high profile position, you and I are lucky if we keep our job and put the bread on family table!
