Can you get laid off over a mid year review or is it only end of year?

Layoffs are not generally performance based. If you’re asking can you be put on a development plan based on mid year or fired for bad performance, those things can happen anytime.
I find Citi to be fair on their assessments, its their reward in which they need to work on.
Bonus’s and raises are very lackluster.
