Has anyone been able to confirm the severance package?

@2hcu+1nNSNL4x that's an interesting change. I think they realize what a revolt they would have with those remaining, if they did not. Don't be surprised if they budge on that Monday-Thursday, in-office "punishment" they're brandishing. Show me the p***ed of workers who remain putting up with that! Bless the EMT's hearts!
I see that you can put in for a voluntary severance, too, per the updated Q&A. But you have to notify your director or vice-president by 9 a.m. Central, Monday, July 31 for consideration. LOL lots of time, EMT. Only LN herself could have cooked up a plot so devious.
They are now also paying out unused PTO up to 120 hours
Since this is relevant to this question. I will repost. CC will likely give 2.5 weeks per year worked (as a FTE - not contractor). In the past, they offered an additional 8 weeks of your base when the layoff was not given an advance. By sending the email 2 weeks prior, they have removed themselves of this obligation and in turn likely saved themselves (CC) upwards of $10M. Screwing over those being laid off, and Jay will still get his 7. Something Million bonus on top of his salary.
I feel for those that will be affected.. but the grass is 100% greener on the other side. Also, the higher the severance (depending on your state) the longer it takes for unemployment to kick it.
There is alot of my team taking the package...my guess is for those that stay you will be tasked with even more of a workload at the same payrate. If you arent fired.
No idea if this is so or not however the call I was on a director stated he thought they where going to look at paying out PTO. I know that was a change this year so who knows.
I would look into the need for CC to have to payout any 2022 PTO earned as that was. Earned under a different agreement with the company.
We should take the next two weeks as PTO. Sc--w Jay and Laura. Shut the company down for the next two weeks
Some states have very strict laws surrounding this ... CA being one.PTO must be paid out as it's considered earned income that is yet to be paid.
I just saw it is 2.5 weeks for each year of service.
Some states by law need to pay out PTO but could be mistaken.
Correction 2.5 weeks per year of service healthcare
- 5 weeks of base salary per year of service
- 5 weeks of healthcare per year of service
Minimum 15 weeks
Maximum 52 weeks
No unused PTO paid out.
It's actually more generous than industry standard of 2 weeks per year and immediate COBRA. No payout of PTO su-ks, but that's old news.
