It’s just the current scapegoat for ineffective people management (Mid level and up in HR). Even if we fired all the holdouts we wouldn’t be getting rid of the problem.
Repost: To be fair to everybody, either everyone in hybrid mode have the autonomy to decide how often they want to come to office or intel as a company fix a minimum number of days to come to office.

100% of people used to use horse and buggy to move around too. Just a few years ago we rented tapes and CDs from Best Buy and snail mailed our bills in envelopes. I understand the rate of change is very fast and you feel it may pass you by, but the cubicle farms of pre-covid will surely die.
@dnw+1nOg01qA different job? I would assume you refer to jobs which may require FULL work from office not hybrid. What the issue now is those in hybrid mode can decide how often they want to come to office. before covid19 is 5 days per week WFO no issue but post covid19 you telling me "different jobs need different working conditions. " wake up your ideas!!
Why do you assume Intel is not already doing this? I have been told by managers this is already happening in some orgs.
Why is it so difficult for you to understand - different jobs need different working conditions. If you don’t like yours get a different job.
is time intel give a clearer definition of hybrid working mode instead of leave it to each management to decide causing different practices across the company
I don't care will quit before going back in.
Banks very invested in the status quo of legacy in office work due to their exposure to commercial realestate. I believe in the long run, this is a losing battle. Even from an environmental perspective, it’s much better to not have people commuting to an office, not to mention that once they get there, all they’re doing is putting on a headset and logging into Teams. Insane.
Citi is exposed to commercial real estate losses.
