Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Fight RTO

The new hybrid policy allows us 4 weeks per calendar year of working fully remote, correct? What if all of us use these 4 weeks we are allotted for 2023 in the first four weeks of October in protest? We would not be violating the policy nor would we be considered doing job abandonment. You only have 3 months to spend them anyway before you get next year’s allowance and I doubt they rollover if you don’t use them.

It's 1 week per QUARTER. It's been communicated in emails, teams chats and I lost count at the town halls and leader calls. How did you get this one thing wrong? SMH

Sorry to break it to you, but thats not how the 4 weeks works. It can be taken 1 per week per quarter. And I know it’s hard for you to understand but Schwab isn’t going to care if you protest, did you read the email about layoffs and being over staffed?

Yeah. Protest all the way to the unemployment line.

1 week for rest of 2023. Protest all you want but you’ll give them opportunity to write you up or fire you for job abandonment.

I believe we will receive a pro-rated amount for this year too. It’s like 1 week per quarter.
