There is an answer, it is called 'hybrid', with purposeful reasons to bring team together. Not just because 'thats how it always was'. People can feel the pointlessness of that and rightly push back.

So obviously no Corporate RTO mandate was rolled out in the all hands.

With that said, I leave you with this link and ask you, do you think Intels new financiers could pressure Pat and the ELT ?

This makes total sense. Now the studies are coming showing that work from home has been a complete disaster.

The findings show:

  1. People work 3.5 hours less per week when working at home.
  2. Young / inexperienced workers are showing severe stress and lack of productivity because the experienced workers aren't helping them learn since they are at home.
  3. Collaboration and synergy are suffering. The benefits of impromtu interaction have been lost.

Of course workers who were at home kick and scream and don't want to go back. Why would they, they aren't working as hard and they don't have to help others on the team.

I'm not RTO. They can fire me and probably will. I'll be fine without all the office, "collaboration and culture." Buh-Bye Intel, you're going to lose anyone who can find a remote position elsewhere. (meaning anybody worth their salt)

You should be fu----g glad you get 2 WFH days a week. That % is high enough that your entire team doesn't even have to come in on the exact same days. Use ur mf brain.

It will be part of your EOY rating so if not interested in RTO take the next package

I’ve been looking at jobs externally and there are a lot of 100% remote but they will have 200-500 applicants already. There are local jobs some are hybrid with as few as 1-2 days on site per month. Might be an option.

Whats with you and RTO? If you want to, go for it. I think you are in deep do---o with your commercial real estate investments. Posting the same sht across the boards is not gonna help. Trend is there and will not come back. Working from home is a competitive advantage for these companies.
