Is anyone else just sick of waiting to know when and if they'll be laid off? I dont want to be but I would almost rather get laid off than deal with the uncertainty anymore. I'm scanning this site and others when I should be resting because I just want to know so badly.

I feel that coming to the site to talk about it makes me feel a lot better actually. Good to have a place to vent. Otherwise the pent up pressure would simply be too much.

I'm the sole earner in my household, have a medical condition that requires monthly medication, and I'm so beyond stressed. I just want to know so that I can peacefully do my job or begin the search for a new one ASAP. I've had to take an anti-anxiety pill almost daily now, just to be able to sleep.
I've seen a couple of layoffs at Schwab now and this is one drawback of WFH. It's hard to gauge what your standing is.
Capital is King.
It's weighing on me big time. My husband and I both work at schwab and earn great livings, but we're afraid to spend money to fly to visit family or finally get a new car. We arent making plans- we're just waiting and watching our spending.
I still want to know how I volunteer for this.
I have a feeling some of my colleagues are going to be part of this and I myself do not want to work on the team without them.
Just think… The EC is probably in the same boat this weekend with the worrying. Well prob not the same boat - most likely a yacht soaking up rays with a pina colada. Stressing over how to spend their bonuses this year that will increase dramatically for them after all these cuts and the work we did for integration being successful. We are all just trying to own our Tomorrow ya know?

Me too! Just wish we knew next week, I can hardly concentrate at work…This and Reddit are the only sites, and not sure accuracy levels at Reddit…what other sites? If you can share…
Same. I even logged in this morning to snoop around and see if any leaders were online or see if meetings were put on my calendar. There was nothing.
