Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Layoffs Sept. 2023?

Has anyone heard of any layoffs yet? Around this time last year, there were lots of lay-off rumors. HL markets are being switched around due to business needs. Some CCS who were averaging 20 loans may now only have 5-7 starting soon.

It’s historically always after employee “appreciation” day.

It’s happening in. Our leadership has informed us to take resume classes and effective communication classes as well. The also “highly recommended” us to attend the upcoming job fair.

We heard from our site manager recently that apps are down, but no rumors of layoffs.

A lot managers seem to have visited Manila recently, so time will tell what will happen.

Chase Mortgage is the titanic in slow motion. It's only a matter of time; No "field" HLA's (only call center) and 90% of processing duties done in Manila. If you don't see the locomotive coming through the tunnel, then you are fast asleep and will get run over (pulverized).

Complaining about Manilla making mistakes, yet these comments are riddled with writing errors. Kind of explains why you're considered low-lying fruit and receive less than favorable reviews.

Nah. Manila is making too many mistakes on title. And they laid off all of our stateside people who did title and taxes properly. So its your job now💁‍♀️ they will work you to death. You will make mistakes because you are overwhelmed. Then you will get a less than favorable review. No matter how long you have been there and was a top performer. Then when lay off comes you are then you are the low hanging fruit. OR you could be successful and still be the low lying fruit. But if you have been there a long time. Stay until the push you out the door and get that severence.
