I was surprised to see L10 the other day in org charts. VPs at L6… like WTH. So much fat. Every VP at L5/L6 and every Sr. Director at L6/L7, every Director at L7/L8 should just be eliminated. That will save thousands of jobs right there. I am a Bain consultant. Pay me $2M for this insight.

Welcome to corporate America. HPE, NetApp, Cisco, VMware, IBM, all the same. Why do you think there was a big industry push to get back in offices.

  1. A lot of rich folks are invested in commercial real estate
  2. Middle managers who can't manage for crud needed to be able to see their people to justify their existence.
