Verizon Debt: What would happen if Verizon "stopped" paying its Corporate Debt, Restructure vs. Defaults??

Ponder this for a moment regarding the massive, remaining, $140B incurred corporate debt approved by the current VZ CEO.

The lenders would simply restructure the loaned amount and moving forward re-amortize the payments.

Pay the corporate debt with VZ shares or RSUs.
