I dunno what it is that you are and are not doing, but please take your hands off of the controls and stop doing it. You have become the shareowner terminator. Whatever it is that you were doing in the frozen tundra, please round up the family and return to doing it ASAP.

@2wib did you notice that his eyes are too close together?
That's what bothers me the most
"He’s a brilliant strategist and leader. End of story."
But the facts say that he has destroyed billions in equity value in two corporations. He has harmed the reputations of two major corporations. He has driven a wedge of division between employees based on race, creed, and color. And allowed the Verizon network to descend to its lowest value since its inception.
The only brilliant thing that he has done is line his own pocket while robbing the pockets of shareholders, employees, and customers. Hans has no soul and no business sense for anyone but himself. He is anything but a leader by American standards.

If they cut the dividend, the BOD, and Executive officers and execs down to directors in finance will be fired within six months and all of them will bear the shame of the cut which will affect their future careers everywhere. GE has spent much time in the wilderness. There is too much dead weight in the company and anyone who does not return to the office should be let go with a minimal package. The problem is that Hans has surrounded himself with losers since day one. Time for a serious house cleaning.
Maybe they should cut the dividend to mirror the cut in share price. Based on all the ideas coming out of BR might work into their long terms plans.
Ask the federal government for a bailout for maintaining the landline business + the union + the Lead sheathing.
Refinance the debt.
VZ corporate bankruptcy.
Rubber meets the road in just a few weeks. If the BOD doesn't increase the dividend the stock tanks. Vestberg has been an unmitigated disaster for Verizon.
