Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Free advise

I have recently left Allsnake. I waited until my new employer start day, called in sick the next fees days, then just called my CSL and gave him my resignation over the phone….. give them what they give you…..

This is not a train station. No need to announce your departure.

If you haven’t learned, DO NOT GIVE NOTICE. The company will terminate you on the spot regardless of performance or tenure. It’s very shady.

Since you don’t know the difference between advise and advice, Allstate is better off without you!

In many cases the company do not honor two week notices so why should we give them? This company in recent years has provided not reason to provide them with any common courtesy especially something as trivial as the "two week notice". When you get another job milk every hour of pay you can out of them and then let them know of your resignation at the last minute. After all Allstate is known for trying to find a reason to get out of paying you those last few weeks once you dare to leave the great and powerful Allstate to better yourself.
