This might be a stupid question, but if I got a 1x1, does it have to mean I'm about to be laid off? Could it be something else?

If it's called "Business Update" On your outlook calendar, that's what is used for the layoffs, unfortunately.
Well sure, of course. It’s just most likely the layoff, smaller chance it could be a re-org, or maybe normal business.
