Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Hiring Process

I work as an architect in another bank and I applied for a position at US Bank where the job description pretty much matched with whatI am doing currently to 98% . I never got an interview call.
Then I resend my resume with a fake name ( Anglo male name). Within a day I got an interview call. I am so surprised by the HR’s screening process.

All Hiring Mangers are corrupt with US Bank. They have the most unethical hiring processes I have ever witnessed. I work in HR and I can attest! HR over 30 years!

HR there is no excuse for not doing your job and finding the best candidate. I don't care if they are a thousand. Communicate with your team and find solutions instead of complaining. You have the cushiest job in the bank.

A lot of jobs posted by U.S. Bank are not even real. You’ll see jobs of similar titles constantly popping up and going away and popping back up again. If the job is legitimate, the process will be a phone or Teams interview with the recruiter. Then, an in person interview. Don’t get your hopes up if you do well. Qualifications aside, the job will most likely go to a personal friends or relatives of the hiring managers.

I am in HR and would say that the number of applicants we receive now is in the hundreds for each job. It might be that the recruiter only had time to look at the most recent resumes.
