Any idea what’s happening with the mass contractor layoffs at Global? Think it’s tied to the Guardian article about the contractor investigation?

Technically, most of these employees are still staying on board. Nike ended its contract with one of the main Global contract companies because the contract company's robust benefits did not align with Nike's mission and ethos (as explained by the competitor contract company with abysmal benefits that these ETWs are being pressured to transition over to).
Maternity leave off the table for ETWs now, along with many other critical benefits.
Nike showing it's true colors.
There is a law firm investigating Nike Labor practices for contractors, ETW, etc
The Guardian’s article was kind of d-mb. Speculation & copy-pasting from another group’s work
I assume just a cost cutting measure as to not have to layoff anymore FTEs unfortunately.
Also what is happening with all the RL’s hires from Kohls?
