CX Guru -- How Expensive?

All roads lead to us hiring this guys firm (The planted Forbes story on Masarek was written by Alan's Old friend) for some serious top-down/bottom-up Customer Experience Revamping.

Will anyone in marketing still have a job or will they clear us out to pay for this guru and his company, and then rebuild marketing after?

Think about it.
The expense of the silly employees is one thing. But the REAL expense is what revenue and revenue opportunity was lost based on the fools? That loss is greater than any expense to invest in a real PRO! It's time Avaya upgrades.
Honestly, what the heck was wrong with HR that they allowed some candidates to pass through? HR didn't properly vet candidates when they did not come close to the basic requisition qualifications. In fact, that alone should be grounds for termination.
Wanting to be something and declaring you are is VERY different from actually BEING what you desire to become.
( Go back to their applications and resume and then verify what they claim...there is a gap between what is claimed and what is fact )
