AT&T tech here…huge bloodbath for the mgmt side today. It’s in the thousands. I know we’ve cut over 70,000 since 2020.

To whoever asked why someone from AT&T is posting here, do you even work here? If you did, you would know Verizon is a follower and understand why that information is pertinent to this board.
Why are you posting on the Verizon layoffs site? Things must be really slow for AT&T techs.
Keep in mind that AT&T also has nearly double the employee base of VZ...
Hugh, AT&T is well ahead of us here at Verizon.
AT&T, Ma Bell, well ahead with 70k jobs reduced in contrast to Verizon.
Verizon always lags behind and will face tougher harder distress in the future and possible bankruptcy.
