Did anyone read the email from last week about USB implementing the new workforce analytics? They are pushing that it increases work-life balance, but it's monitoring productivity. Seems like it'll just make it easier to justify getting rid of people.

Oh it’s happening… limit anything personal on Teams or Outlook
I didn't see it but I noticed my laptop has a location icon now that cannot be modified. System admin access only.
Thoughts / motivation of why they would do that are annoying for sure. But big picture, it's their computer, I get my paychecks, and nobody has said anything (yet) about my work habits. I'm still hybrid, and nobody tells me when to come and go in the office.
If they're using this to weed out the guys that don't get any work done, I couldn't care less. I don't believe I have anything to hide about my work habits.
Go ahead and call me a company guy. I reserve the right to complain later if suddenly they say I need to go to the office more because they're not happy with what this location icon is saying about me. Until then...
What are they monitoring? They don't know how to manage anyone properly so what's the tool for? Leadership at US Bank is a joke in the banking industry!
As every day passes it's what every banker speaks about on this page. Horrible company with awful values and the worst leadership. They keep trying to fake it with these customer service experience. Cheerleaders with no clear authority for making any real change. What this company needs is a mass fire of all leadership and to rebuild.
Talk to me about work/ life/balance when you have few offices open Saturdays when most are closed. I'm talking traditional branches that had no say or help from the other branches that are closed. Talk to me about how Union went from 15 min breaks
(us bank does 15 min breaks for outside ca) and 30 min lunches when we used to get 1hr. Talk about how they value employees when the incentives are little to nothing. Don't celebrate holidays like Christmas with staff celebrations, birthdays, etc.
You are a number to USB. They couldn't care less about your life. Prove me wrong cause the writing on the role yells they don't give a sh-t
Anytime you have a merger there will be redundancies. Just unfortunate that qualified, talented people have to be let go.
Given the stagnant leadership within U.S. Bank, their focus on enhancing revenue in my opinion always begins with cuts to expenses regarding the operation of the business, to attempt to make their "number" look better, since leadership goes not have the skill or market presence to compete with the better managed banks nor the well run payment companies and well oiled card issuers.
Haha. Another layoff tool. That will make them lots of money right?!?! Maybe focus on making it a better bank would be more profitable.
