The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Ford plans to lay off at least 1,000 salaried employees and contract workers in North America, citing people familiar with the matter.

I heard from a NDA source that it was 8-10k over the next year. He was unsure about how many this week but expected it to be more than 3k.

Earlier articles have all said “at least” a few hundred. i wouldn’t be surprised by 1000+ at this point.
