Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Diversity department will probably not be effected (again).

Check the org chart for our DEI group. They didn't get tasked last year and I'm sure they won't this year. They actually have a person who's job title is "DEI awards". Seems critical I guess.

DEI and HR are not your enemies...

In fact, they are good things and facing the same challenges as the rest of us.

@iyj "we gotta keep our heads screwed on straight here."

That's asking a lot for people who jump to any excuse to blame DEI for their failures in life.

you know who isn't getting impacted? the c-suite.

the "dei group" sure as sh-t isnt the one who decided to lay people off, and they probably all together cost less than a single executive board member. we gotta keep our heads screwed on straight here.

Mr Farley said that Ford Motor Company lags far behind our competitors with regards to DEI.

It would be foolish to decrease the DEI numbers with layoffs and fall even further behind the competition.

Best wishes to the DEI members of our Ford Family. Now is your time to shine!
