Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

RTO Drop-ins make NO SENSE. Oakton Virginia has more than Atlanta?

Looking at the updated email sent out on "How and Where We Work". The drop-in site numbers are insane. Austin, Texas and Chicago have more drop-in stations than all of Atlanta combined. One site listed in the 6 that Atlanta has states it's next to the football field. ??

OP - The “football area” is what they call the big, open, oval-shaped area that is in the center of that floor and is a common area, often with a breakroom, kitchen, tables, and a few chairs. So a seat near the football area is near the breakroom and elevators, and where people will be taking breaks and talking.

You’ll get a “work bus” like on the office. Maybe a trip for pies?

workstation reservations are pretty much same as drop-in: cannot make a reservation unless you are on site to scan Q code. useless

Wrong. Once YWR is updated you will be able to make a reservation in advance.

It is the football stadium. They're going to lease it out daily and people will sit there and collaborate.

Workstation reservations have not been added to the YWR site. Did you not see the note on the site - desk reservations coming soon. Drops mean nothin with respect to RTO.

" Currently having more options is a plus"

You're speaking as if you get to pick one. You don't.

Are you reading the one titled updated faqs for how and where we work? If so, where do you see about those drop in locations?

Currently having more options is a plus! Why are you complaining?

Don't worry; densification in Atlanta is underway. You will be reporting to floor 3 3/4, pod 561B

And this is kind of what happens when a lunatic incompetent makes a policy that is impossible to implement.
