Ever single person on my team requesting remote was rejected today. They are not even holding up to the percentages they promised

Had a chat w my MD last week. From what he implied, they were going to give up at least 1 or 2 more levels and make approvals on a needs basis, and not be giving them out to people who just do not want to get out of their pajamas and drive to the office.
Our org is rejecting all WFH requests with the mentality that they are ripping the bandaid off. I guess some orgs are approving the first six month, knowing the won't approve it again. I wish they'd just tell those employees that.
There are likely multiple rounds of review. Making it past this 1st cut doesn't even guarantee anything.
July 20th is the deadline. Your manager will tell you if accepted or rejected, sometime between now and then
How are you/others finding out you were rejected? My manager told me/everyone else and per the email we received, I thought we weren't supposed to find out if our exception granted until the week of July 20 or so?
The exemptions are not necessarily by manager. It could be applied to everyone under a VP or something else. Ask your manager if by team, director, VP or other.
