Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Market adjustment raises

A big thank you to those who have voluntarily left the company. X has invested millions of dollars in raises to bring salaries up and many people are getting significant salary increases.

Would love to know in what area morale is up …Never have seen such discontent
in Xerox employees

Morale is up for some...good for you. I am trapped in a position I cannot move away from due to my knowledge and experience. I keep getting more work but no pay increase. It will come back to bite them when they get my two week notice when my next job offer comes around. Old saying, pay now or pay later. Paying later will be costly.

Yeah I'll bet they got "promoted". Wonder what they did to "earn" that "promotion"... Typical xerox

I call BS. No one around here is getting that big of a pay bump unless you got promoted. The 2-5% raises were not unexpected.

If you are in sales and you can sleep at night knowing you are selling your customers a bag of cr-p then, enjoy your extra money.

Big professionalism difference between a xeroid yesterday (15-20 yrs ago?) vs … whatever you call a xerox employee today. The chasm is huge.

Yeah….we are all salty all right. As the xerox ship sunk long ago and we have all been swimming in the sea water for a while.
The only raise we got was with the waves and the tides, moving us around in the water.
Many of us got picked up by other traveling freighters (competitors)
and live on to tell the story.

You sir could be the next Gilligan on the S.S. Minnow. And just so yanno. …Bob Denver is dead.

Google it if you have no clue.

Wow the person that went up $700/month must have been so sorely underpaid to begin with. Good for you!

Not sure what you people are smoking but 3-5% raises after going years without just doesn’t cut it ..in addition now doing the work that 3 people use to do .

$700 a month! You could lease an Altalink B8170 on a 72 month term with that! Congrats on the kool-aide chugging.

Y’all are some salty motherfu-kers.

My raise was $700+ a month effective next pay period. It will certainly make a big difference in my life and was unexpected.

I got 2.5% , now I'm just behind the market rate by about 22%. Doing my best for the company, fingers crossed.

We are rocking and rolling now! Go team Xerox and keep kicking bu-t! More money to be made around the company. Hiring is up, marketing is up, more leads coming in, winning more national accounts…great to see!

That's great. Now you got a whooping 5% raise when inflation has been at nearly 10%, so overall, you lose. And I'm sure you're getting great health benefits with a $9,000 deductible. You win!

I'm so glad I left that dump.

I’d also like to thank the less than savvy customers who bought 3rd rate xerox Java junk product and service. Your sacrifice has not gone unnoticed.
