Does anyone know if or when there will be layoffs in Client Legal Services?

If Allstate loses customers, policies go down. If there are fewer policyholders, there are fewer lawsuits. That could mean fewer lawyers needed. But probably not. The way Allstate is, there will always be lawsuits to defend.

No, you didn't. A lawyer has to be admitted to the bar in the state where he or she practices. The lawyer does not have to live in that state, but has to be admitted in that state.
You did nothing to get a lawyer admitted to practice law in any state.

Allstate India has the same claims and legal licenses for business that onshore does. They are considered an extension of onshore areas and are and have been licensed accordingly. We assisted with the licensing classes and testing for legal and Claims in India.

End of the year Clent Legal will be gone. Everything will be offshore to India and attorneys from there will attend court via Zoom.
