Cuts gaining steam

Talk of WFR is gathering pace , i doubt it will be as high as 10%, maybe another 5%?

Seriously don’t understand the ex Dell and HR accusations on this site!!! WTF are you even talking about?? There are plenty of stupid comments here but almost anytime there is a rational comment made, out comes the ex this and HR that. Please stop it. People are here to gain insight into what may or may not be coming. So shut it already. Please!!

So many Dell HR people bashing those asking relevant questions. “Do not look at the man behind the curtain.” Good luck to you all.

@1jtm+1nxKihHS Not histrionics - I really don’t care for most of my coworkers. Though I don’t actively wish most people out of a job. But this “the predictions didn’t come true” and “everything negative is just ex Dell losers” cr-p is absurd. Just go away, you aren’t adding anything productive.

Wouldn’t ex-Dell laid off mean they are currently Dell employees? If

Grammar matters.

It was supposed to happen in March, May, June, July and in the future. Yes it may happen in the future, and it will match the pathetic predictions. Get a life mo--n.

Wild how many people bit*h and moan about "ex dell" people on here. I'm ex dell, not disgruntled by any means as I was looking for a way out in February.

What I do know is several folks in some of the smaller orgs (acq for example) being given the option to be placed on a PIP (where they ride your as$ and fire you anyway) or to take a couple month severance. There have been plenty of internal rumblings as majority of my pals have informed me of, so I'm worried the end of the half with be a cut for many others. Hate to see it, and I hope it doesn't happen.. but intuition had me nervous. He-l, I know I was getting cut from moves made in September of 2022, I could just feel it.

Just do yourself the favor of getting that Resume polished and plenty of connections on LinkedIN.

I will be curious if the Networking vertical makes it through this round.

Sales will be majorly gutted. ISG and CSG will be trimmed - many teams/orgs are already running too lean, I imagine the cuts will come in the form of targeting specific product vertices to exit entirely, collapsing redundant teams, etc. it’s hard to say what the percentage will be across the board.
