Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

The WF way....

Is playing the victim and being "offended" by someone that is knocking it out of the park, escaping it up the chain to their manager so that the finger gets pointed at them. Takes the onus off you and you malign the person good at their job. Bonus if you do this at Layoff or review time.

@1bnd+1nxSM7LZ OP's post is educating potential external hires about what to expect.

Whatever drama is going on with your team OP it really doesn't have anything to do with the zillion other teams out there. If your perf is awesome, good for you. Who cares what other people think about it?

We have a person on our team who says the most obnoxious and offensive things in every meeting, monopolizes the time and talks about how wonderful they are. It is maddening. Reporting Managers never address it and we all have to suffer through it!

@1vdt+1nxSM7LZ. Typical WF-er. Turning it negative on the messenger.

Or maybe a fellow employee is sick & tired of this offensive person and decided to do something about it.

And maybe the offending person isn’t as great at their job as they tout themselves to be.

Juicy!

What did you say or do that was considered offensive?

This is the natural outcome of bell-curving a team on performance and forcing a distribution. The only way to look good is to make your colleagues (dare I say teammates?) look bad.
