Don't believe a word Jim Farley says. This is evidence he is gas lighting shareholders.

From August, China is to restrict exports of gallium and germanium, two critical elements for making semiconductor chips. With China dominating the supply of both elements, exporters will now need special license to get them out of the country. The move has the potential to harm a range of western tech manufacturers that use these elements to make their products.

Batteries will fail ... because there's no (and can't be due to limited electrical capacity) nation-wide charging network and consumers won't sit around for hours waiting for a charge.

But then again, there's no H2 or CNG infrastructure either ... so yeah.

Hydrogen, no mining, no precious metals, no global supply chain... oops, no resource chain to feed bankers and no global trade model to keep wall street flush... so we'll get there but only after batteries fail.
