Yup! We hold our Quarterly Achievement summit for Q1+Q2 in late August.

I was selected by our VPGM to go for Q1 but unfortunately have been served a surplus notice.

Company brain drain has been continuing for years it seems… take your vacation days, leave nothing on the table. Don’t get used like a lady of the night.

It’s the same concept as “gateway to leadership “.

You work on projects no one else wanted to do. This is the company dangling a carrot to get you to do added work at no additional cost to the company.

The company loves to abuse those employees while making them believe they are next in line.

MDP = Mainly D-mb People.

It’s a fast track to VP level and above.

First thing to understand is MDP is completely irrelevant. This is a business unit specific program, run by an overfunded operations team that will likely be cut in the future.

This program is not an official HR “promote us” list. Any 1-1s you have with officers and VPs will be forgotten in a few months. Good for you for being an overachiever and getting selected, but it really doesn’t matter to anyone else.
