Whoever is in charge of communications should be fired.
Mixed messaging for professionals in closed locations: "we're invested in everyone's advancement in closing locations", followed by "be intentional about engagement if you're remote because you won't be able to keep up". Much like the original mixed messaging of "everyone needs to be in office to collaborate" followed by "we're closing your location" .
