I do not know of anyone that quit (yet). Curious if others have teammates that left already.43

I quit two weeks ago. The concept of RTO didn’t bother me a ton, but feeling like a nameless cog in an uncaring machine sure did. So far my new employer treats me like a human being, and I have yet to have the urge to s-b at my desk—a common occurrence for me within the Schwab system.
Now that layoffs are known to be coming, I suspect the attrition rate from people who are just fed up with Schwab’s games will only continue to grow. Which is probably exactly what the company wants, but whatever. I’m just glad to be done with them.
Not enough! The org chart today shows 39,912 employees, not counting contractors.
A few months ago it was in the 35k range. Could easily cut 10%. Maybe even 20%.
Look at the org chart. How many MD's are directly in your line? FIVE??
Cut. Cut. CUT. Start with the top.
Glad to hear the internal auditors are leaving. I was convinced they didn't have enough work to do and that's why some of us have been in an endless cycle. They cause more wasted time and money than anyone ever talks about.
But quitting is what they are hoping for…….the more employees that quit, the better their balance sheet looks to their Board, and the fewer payouts Schwab has to make when they do the inevitable upcoming layoff(s). Don’t make it easy for them. Continue to perform your job capably……..just do it from home!
My girlfriend working for the HR department. She said over 2000 people have already given their notice.
Company may need to give away gift cards to keep employees.
I am interviewing and networking.
Damn if the auditors are fed up it must be bad
15-20+ internal auditors interviewing for new jobs including director levels
Everyone is looking. Hasnt been long enough to secure other jobs yet (a month since mandated RTO). Winter is coming....
Interviewing now for new jobs, so haven't quit yet. I imagine most people are doing the same.
No one leaving until they secure another job before October. Tons of people interviewing now
