Hearing that all of BJ is impacted. Entire product is being retired and sunset. Even customers will be notified of sunset

Not sure if BJs was ever profitable. And the recent enhancements such as Tele Health and Free tier likely didn’t show any signs in moving the needle. The patience on a $400M investment ran out. It’s wise to cut one’s losses and move on when cash flow and profitability is a priority. Just feel sorry for the folks on the BJ team that’ll likely be impacted.

Was acqui-hired by VZ. Our "startup" culture slowly got scrubbed. It's not a uniquely VZ thing, every big corp says they won't change things but they always do and it's almost always a one way street.
I wonder if they tried to sell it to recoup some of the cost. Either no one wanted it or wanted it for free
It has been a disaster from the beginning, should have never happened.
Another confirmation that leadership cannot expand VZ outside of its core competencies.
Read that we were never able to mesh the startup culture with the rest of VZ. What does that say about our culture?
