Medical Accommodation SLA

How long did it take HR to approve or reject from the time you submitted all required information? And were you approved or denied? If denied, why?

Multiple people on my team had medical ones approved, none of them were denied that applied for it.
Turn around time carried from 2 days from time of request to about 2 weeks and the only delay was a team member being asked if they needed special equipment at home to help.
HR was pretty accommodating there, they labeled the meeting as a “discussion” but it really was just to ask how they could help

I put my request in and it took 2 weeks for them to approve. They also sent an email after the request was submitted letting me know they were behind. 2 weeks felt pretty quick!

I had a pre-existing ADA accommodation, and they made me go back to my doctor and get an “update” to say that I needed a “private office” if I have to RTO. Which we know they will not give me so… no RTO for me seems to be the plan, but they said it may take a bit.

Why the down vote? I just asked a question and I do have a medical condition. Guess it's time to stop looking at this site. People are rude and mean. Thanks for making make feel worse.
