Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

If your Boundess Learning check was wrong

Is anyone still waiting for the backpay from the first check with Boundless Learning? My first check was based on my salary with Pearson and not the one contracted with Mega. I know through the weeks we kept receiving reassurance that it was "being taken care of"....but then we were cut before that happened. I reached out to HR and they asked me to complete a form so they could track it. They are hoping we let this go, hoping we won't fight for a measly portion on a check for a weeks work. I won't!

Did you know that they should have rectified this within 10 days in the state of AZ?

Check your state and don't let the company bully you to give up your rights!

@6jnm+1o2XQLqs So I guess you are pretty bored at your new gig so you spend all day trolling the layoff board of your last employer just being an A*^. If you fought for something back then, why would you tell people to not fight now. Seems a little hypocritical. Wow, go get a life and stop thinking you are better than everyone else.

@6lnt+1o2XQLqs Please report back on how that “fight for your rights” worked out.

And actually I was wrongfully terminated several years back. Got myself a nice 12 month severance.

So I do know how to fight:) And I fight dirty.

See if you get paid anything this Friday from them. If not, then I'd be getting the DoL onto it.

I take it that @6jnm+1o2XQLqs takes things laying down and doesn't put up any sort of fight. You probably just sit and collect a paycheck until someone notices finally and then move on to milk the next gig. If you think people standing up for their rights is wrong then I would hate to be in your circle.

: @1etd+1o2XQLqs Good luck with that. The only people who win in class action lawsuits are lawyers. Enjoy your $25.

Move on with your life. Please.

Don't give up. Read your states payment of wage policies on the labor portion of your states site. There are rules surrounding timeframes to pay wages and what happens if a company doesn't comply.

I spoke with a lawyer. This can turn into a class action lawsuit in Arizona.

Actually, the Department of Labor takes their job seriously. File a complaint and see how quickly they'll resolve your pay issues.

I also reached out asking about the 401k adjustment and was told that they are still working on it…like seriously how much more do we have to wait? Or are we even getting the adjustment??? Won’t be surprised if we don’t!!!
