Is 350mil VZ paying HCL?
"The Credo" has always been BS from the time it was introduced.
Lot of these jobs are in cary. What other locations are impacted by this?
Vz would never bury their key credo and priorities and throw their employees into a partnership with HCL (gardner magic quadrant top performer!!) if HCL was a non woke company, would they? Pride months will still get celebrated at hcl along with free choice of gender, right?
100% of Cade org (at least 4 voice product support teams)
Does anyone know if Cary-NMC Voice was impacted?
The only team in 6400 that I know is staying is circuit design.
Over 5000 employees impacted
Wonder how many teams not impacted this round consider organizing.
Anyone know how many employees were part of this deal? I think the original count for Infy was about 1500 and only 2/3 took it.
Wondering if it it will eventually impact the other wireline NOCs upstream from the customer facing teams...
Reminds me of the Lucent/Goodman engineering services deal. The top 10% left and Lucent tanked shortly thereafter.
I am a Service Manager for the past 30 years and yes they are dumping us to HCL. I look at it as a way to retire in place. They will pay me my lump sum pension from my Bell Atlantic days and hand me my 401k plus a check for unused vacation and those stock together things late this year. Basically it is retirement, but then I get to work another year at least for the same salary at that HCL place.
What about service management ?
What about the small network install teams, some of which are union?
Network Engineering, service assurance, PM. $350,000,000 a year deal.
